² thus says Adonai, the God of Israel, concerning you, Baruch: “you said: ³ ‘Oy to me now! For Adonai has added sorrow to my pain. I am worn out with my groaning, and I find no rest.’”

⁴ Thus shall you say to him, thus says Adonai: “Behold, what I have built I will tear down, and what I have planted I will uproot—the whole land.
